Question
Only 12 times in NFL history has a quarterback started 100 consecutive games. Who is the only quarterback who ended two of those streaks?
Answer
Geno Smith. When the Giants sat down Eli Manning after 210 games in 2017, it was Smith who replaced him. And when Russell Wilson’s 149-game streak ended in 2021 with a broken finger, Smith replaced him for three games. Smith is now the regular starter for the Seahawks, and he’ll play against the Giants on Sunday.
