We're introducing a new product this year for the gambling-inclined, the Index Bets weekly newsletter. It will be published each Thursday, and the first issue is available for purchase at the Fantasy Index Store right now.

Each week, I'll sift through the player values, prop bets and over-under projections at FanDuel and DraftKings, and compare them with the projections in Fantasy Index Weekly. In Index Bets, I'll identify favorite -- and least favorite -- bets of the week.

Also fair game for each issue will be NFL over-unders and point spreads -- basically anything where there seems to be a good or hidden value in the weekly slate.

Purchase the Week 1 issue in the store right now. Sample content below.

BEST BETS

Derek Carr has a modest price tag, understandable because he’s Derek Carr. But he’s facing a defense that is dramatically better defending the run than the pass, and the Saints are down a couple of running backs, with Alvin Kamara suspended and Kendre Miller hurt. This also makes Jamaal Williams somewhat intriguing, but in this particular matchup, there should be more passing than running. Carr should get the season off to a nice start.

Fans of Fantasy Index Weekly and the website are well aware that we’re fans of Isiah Pacheco. He’s starting, at home in a showcase game, against a Lions defense that ranked 29th against the run a year ago. Pacheco’s over-under for rushing yards at DraftKings is just 49.5. Recommend the over. (Note, that game is TONIGHT.)

This report is just a small snippet of the Week 1 edition of Index Bets. The newsletter includes two dozen similar recommendations for this weekend; monthly or full-season pricing works out to just $5 week. If you're in a state that allows it, happy betting!
