We're three weeks into our fledgling wagering publication, Index Bets. It's about $5 a pop, published each Thursday, and the third issue (or the whole season) are available for purchase at the Fantasy Index Store right now.
Each week, I sift through the player values, prop bets and over-under projections at FanDuel and DraftKings and compare them with the projections in Fantasy Index Weekly. In Index Bets, I select about two dozen of my favorite -- and least favorite -- bets of the week.
Also fair game for each issue will be NFL over-unders and point spreads -- basically anything where there seems to be a good or hidden value in the weekly slate.
So far, so good. Strictly looking at over-under yardage type wagers, I count 9 wins and 3 losses from last week. Your results may vary, since lines move, and I tend to like to play parlays. Unfortunately with parlays, getting three out of four or even four out of five legs qualifies as a loss -- you've got to hit all of them. But if you just bet single bets last week, or assembled the right parlays, you made out pretty well.
I also identify good (and bad) players for FanDuel and DraftKings lineup type games; player with low prices who should perform like top options.

The Eagles are great, but they lost a couple of defensive starters in free agency and have a lost couple more to injury since the start of the season. The defense looked pretty leaky against the Vikings last week, and this week the Bucs get them. Mike Evans, most notably, should have a very good game against this secondary. So should Chris Godwin. The Bucs will run the passing game primarily through those two wideouts, and it’s a week where they probably won’t have much success running it; Eagles are better defending the run.
This report is just a small snippet of the Week 3 edition of Index Bets. The newsletter includes about two dozen similar recommendations for this weekend; monthly or full-season pricing works out to just $5 week. If you're in a state that allows it, happy betting!
