These are desperate times in fantasy leagues, so when a player catches 4 passes and a touchdown, he needs to be looked at a possible waiver add. Which some people in some leagues will probably do with Kyle Juszczyk.

Juszczyk plays on what has thus far been the league's best team (the Eagles are also 5-0, but San Francisco has got there slightly more impressively, or at least dominantly). If San Francisco keeps on scoring 3-4 touchdowns per week, will Juszczyk continue to put the ball in the end zone? Probably not. He'll be setting blocks to help Christian McCaffrey get in the end zone, perhaps, but that's about it.

The 32-year-old fullback is one of the last of a dying breed in the NFL, so it's fun when he does good things (except when he vultures actual starters, of course). But though he'll rise up with a good week on occasion, it seldom leads to much else.

In the last four seasons, Juszczyk has scored touchdowns in 10 other games. Only once has he come back and scored again the following week.

Table shows his stats in the 10 games he's scored the last four seasons, and the 10 games immediately after those games (in bold). Washington in 2o2o; that's the time he scored two weeks in a row.

Most people already know not to bother picking up Juszczyk. And those that don't, hey, past performance is no guarantee of future results. But I recommend using your waiver budget on someone else.
