Index Bets - Week 7 available now

Edge to Tua in Alabama QB battle

Six teams are on bye in Week 7, leaving us with fewer NFL games and fewer attractive bets. But I still found some, highlighted in the latest issue of Index Bets, published each Thursday, and available right now. You can subscribe for the month of October (or the whole season) at the Fantasy Index Store.

Each week, I sift through the player values, prop bets and over-under projections at FanDuel and DraftKings and compare them with the projections in Fantasy Index Weekly. In Index Bets, I select about two dozen of my favorite -- and least favorite -- bets of the week. Yardage props, over-unders; whatever looks like the best spot to sink some money into and, ideally, turn it into more money.

I also identify some good (and bad) values for FanDuel and DraftKings lineup type games; players with low prices who should perform like top options, or high prices who won't be worth it. Last week's hits included overs on players from the Cowboys, Falcons, Rams and Ravens, and betting the unders on Patriots-Raiders and Ravens-Titans. Did not see the Broncos' no-show at Kansas City, but you can't win 'em all.

BEST BETS

Tua Tagovailoa has some compelling props. The Eagles have been very tough to run on this year, but leaky at times against the pass, so I feel very good about Tua hitting the over of 1.5 TD passes. His passing yards over-under is 269.5, and that, too, looks a little low for him. ...

The Packers are in Denver to face the Broncos, and they’re favored. That’s what things have come to for Sean Payton’s team, that is apparently planning a fire sale. Not a great motivator for a defense that has a lot of holes anyway. Christian Watson at 48.5 receiving yards stands out...

This report is just a small snippet of the Week 7 edition of Index Bets. The newsletter includes about two dozen similar recommendations for this weekend; monthly or full-season pricing works out to just $5 week. If you're in a state that allows it, happy betting!
