Korean Baseball Organization’s Kiwoom Heroes has reported the posting of outfielder Lee Jung-Hoo. The 25-year-old Japan-born player was last year’s KBO Most Valuable Player after batting .349/.421/.575. He had 193 hits, 23 home runs, and a league-leading 113 runs batted in in 627 plate appearances.
Lee got 104 out of 107 to win MVP over the Lotte Giants’ Lee Dae-Ho and Kiwoom teammate An Woo-Jin. He also became the first son of a former KBO MVP to win the award after his father, Lee Jeong-Beom, won the same distinction in 1994.
Former KBO MVP Jung Hoo Lee has reportedly been posted by the Kiwoom Heroes.
