Ronald Acuña Jr. tops MLB Network's top 10 right fielders list

The MLB Network shared its list of the top ten right fielders, and it’s no surprise that Ronald Acuña is on top. The reigning National League Most Valuable Player led the league in stolen bases (73), runs (149), hits (217), and total bases (383).

He also became the first MLB player to collect 40 home runs and 60 stolen bases in the same season. Aside from being named to the All-MLB First Team last season, he earned his third Silver Slugger Award and fourth All-Star nod.

Meanwhile, Kyle Tucker is second on the list after being named to the All-MLB Second Team. The two-time All-Star earned his first Silver Slugger Award after leading the American League in runs batted in with 117. Tucker finished eighth in the league with 163 hits and fifth in total bases.

Juan Soto, whom the San Diego Padres traded to the New York Yankees this season, is third on the list. He played all 162 games for the Padres last season, finishing with 156 hits, 109 RBIs, and 35 home runs. Soto is a four-time Silver Slugger and a three-time All-Star.

Corbin Carroll is fourth on the list after becoming an All-MLB First Team member, an All-Star, and the National League Rookie of the Year last season. Aside from hitting .285/.362/.506/.868, he became the first MLB rookie to have 25 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a season.

Rounding up the top five is Soto’s former teammate, Fernando Tatis Jr. After getting suspended in 2022, he had 78 RBIs and 25 home runs in 575 at-bats. He earned his first Gold Glove after posting a .980 fielding percentage and completing 283 putouts.
