Major League Baseball fans might not mention Bryan Reynolds among the best outfielders. However, the one-time All-Star has silently maintained a 22-game hitting streak in June 2024. He registered a hit in all of the Pittsburgh Pirates games, including ten games with two hits each.
Reynolds extended his streak after connecting on two hits in five at-bats during their June 25 game against the Cincinnati Reds. One of those hits was a two-run home run that helped the Pirates secure a 9-5 victory over the Reds.
At the top of the first inning, Reynolds sent Hunter Greene’s 3-2 pitch to the right field stands. His 13th home run this year gave Pittsburgh a 2-0 lead, and the Pirates held onto the lead throughout the game.

In addition to his solid hitting, Reynolds has been durable in his first six MLB seasons. Except for the COVID-shortened 2020 season, he has played at least 134 games from 2019 to 2023. This year, he has played in all 79 Pirates games.
Reynolds can extend his hitting streak when they complete their three-game series against Cincinnati on June 26 at 1:10 p.m. EST.
