The 2024 Major League Baseball All-Star Game votes are in, and it’s no surprise that New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge got the most votes. He earned his sixth All-Star selection after getting 3,425,309 votes from baseball fans, finishing with a lead of nearly 200,000 votes over the Philadelphia Phillies’ Bryce Harper.
It’s the second time Judge led in All-Star voting. He earned the same distinction in 2022, the year he won the American League Most Valuable Player award.
The three-time Silver Slugger Award winner deserves to be the top vote-getter after establishing MVP-like numbers in the first half of the season. He leads the league in home runs (30), RBIs (77), slugging percentage (.702), OPS (1.131), OPS+ (213), and total bases (203).

Meanwhile, he leads all AL players in doubles (23) and has a .304 batting average through 81 games. More importantly, his efforts helped the Yankees establish a 52-31 record, the third-best in the AL.
As vote leader in Phase 1 of the MLB All-Star voting, Judge gets a spot in the AL roster during the 2024 MLB All-Star Game on July 16 at Arlington, Texas.
In other news, Juan Soto moves to Phase 2 of the All-Star voting for AL outfielders. He will be vying to join Aaron Judge while competing for votes against Steven Kwan, Anthony Santander, and Kyle Tucker.
