With Aaron Judge and Bryce Harper being the top vote-getters for the 2024 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, they will lead their respective teams on July 16 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Judge will represent the New York Yankees and the American League, while Harper will banner the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League squad.
Joining Judge in the AL outfield are fellow starters Steven Kwan (Cleveland Guardians, left field) and Yankees teammate Juan Soto (right field). Meanwhile, the starting infield consists of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Toronto Blue Jays, 1st baseman), Jose Altuve (Houston Astros, 2nd baseman), Gunnar Henderson (Baltimore Orioles, shortstop), and Jose Ramirez (Guardians, 3rd baseman). The Orioles' Adley Rutschman is the starting catcher, while Yordan Alvarez is the AL's starting designated hitter.

On the other hand, Harper is the NL's starting first baseman after finishing second overall in votes behind Judge. Phillies teammates Trea Turner (shortstop) and Alec Bohm (3rd base) will join him in the infield. Ketel Marte (2nd baseman) is the only non-Phillies starting infield for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game.
Starting for the NL outfield are San Diego Padres teammates Jurickson Profar (left field) and Fernando Tatis Jr. (center field). The Milwaukee Brewers' Christian Yelich will start at right field, while Shohei Ohtani will be their starting DH.

In addition to bragging rights, the MLB All-Star Game had massive implications, as the winning side gets home-field advantage for their league's World Series representative. However, the MLB stopped that incentive in 2017, giving the advantage to the team with the better regular season record instead.
The National League won the 2023 MLB All-Star Game, 3-2, after scoring two runs in the top of the eighth inning. Colorado Rockies catcher Elias Diaz won the game's MVP award.
