Kansas City Royals teammates Bobby Witt Jr. and Seth Lugo lead the way for the American League reserves in the 2024 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Through 92 games this season, Witt leads all players in hits (119) and tied for most doubles (25). He is hitting .324/.372/.564 with 15 home runs and 61 RBIs.
Meanwhile, Lugo is tied with Grayson Rodriguez and Chris Sale (11) for most victories. He has a 2.21 ERA with 110 strikeouts and a 1.04 WHIP in 122 innings pitched. Joining Lugo in the pitcher’s rotation for the AL All-Star reserves are Tyler Anderson, Corbin Burnes, Emmanuel Clase, Garrett Crochet, and Logan Gilbert. Clay Holmes, Tanner Houck, Mason Miller, Cole Ragans, Tarik Skubal, and Kirby Yates also made the cut.

Conversely, the AL All-Star Team reserves include infielder Carlos Correa, Rafael Devers, Josh Naylor, Isaac Paredes, and Marcus Semien. Their outfielders include Jarren Duran, Riley Greene, and Kyle Tucker. Salvador Perez is the reserve catcher, while David Fry is their reserve designated hitter.
