The Baltimore Ravens have signed wide receiver Russell Gage. While the terms of the deal remain undisclosed, he is a welcome addition to a squad looking for more depth at wide receiver after Zay Flowers and tight end Mark Andrews.
Gage did not play during the 2023 NFL season due to the torn patellar tendon he suffered during training camp. Now that he's with Baltimore, the LSU wideout played only one season out of his three-year, $30 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his latest playing year, Gage played 13 games and had 51 receptions for 426 yards and a career-high five touchdowns.
Before joining the Buccaneers, Gage played for the Atlanta Falcons, the team that selected him in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He had his best season as a pro in 2020, establishing career-highs in receptions (72) and receiving yards (786).

Gage will join the Ravens' receiving corps, including Flowers, Andrews, Isaiah Likely, Rashod Bateman, and Nelson Agholor. He could help boost the Ravens' passing game, which ranked 21st in receiving yards per game (213.8) during the regular season.
