The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver rotation suffered a blow after Rondale Moore was confirmed to have a season-ending knee injury. NFL Network national insider Ian Rapoport added that the Falcons placed Moore on injured reserve.
Atlanta traded for Moore on the second day of the 2024 league year. In return, the Falcons sent quarterback Desmond Ridder to the Arizona Cardinals. It’s a move they can afford after signing Kirk Cousins to a four-year, $180 million contract and drafting Michael Penix Jr. in the first round.

The former Purdue standout played his first three seasons with the Cardinals, who selected him in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. In his rookie year, Moore established career highs in receptions (54) and receiving yards (435).
In three seasons with the Cardinals, Moore has 135 catches for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns. Unfortunately, his debut with the Falcons will happen next year. In his absence, Darnell Mooney, Ray-Ray McCloud III, and KhaDarel Hodge could have increased stats this season.
