The National Football League has identified quarterback Jayden Daniels, outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard, and punter Jack Fox as the National Football Conference’s top players for Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season.
Daniels was sensational in his Monday Night Football debut on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 2024 second-overall pick became the NFC Offensive Player of the Week after missing only two passing attempts (21 of 23) for 253 yards and two touchdowns. The 2023 Heisman Trophy winner added a rushing touchdown out of 39 yards on the ground.
More importantly, Daniels led the Commanders to victory against the Bengals, improving their record to 2-1 and getting a share of the NFC East division lead. Daniels can continue building on his impressive rookie campaign when the Commanders visit the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Sept. 29.
Meanwhile, Greenard was the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Week after tallying three sacks in their dominating victory over the Houston Texans. Greenard has a sack in back-to-back games, and he will aim to add more in the Vikings’ Week 4 game against their division rivals, the Green Bay Packers.

Finally, Fox took home the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week distinction after averaging 49.4 yards in his five punt attempts. What’s more impressive are his four punts that landed inside the Cardinals’ 20-yard line during their Week 3 contest.
