We've got some injury updates, although a lot of them were clear yesterday. But a couple from this morning, most notably involving Colts receivers in the game against Tennessee.
Michael Pittman (back) and Josh Downs (toe) are expected to play. Of the two, Downs seems safest; with Pittman, seems like the kind of thing where if he takes a hit it could be aggravated. But apparently both will play, and you'd like to think the Colts wouldn't use a guy with a back injury if there were a significant health risk. Friday rankings ("if active") are there for both wideouts.
Diontae Johnson (ankle) is "good to go" for Carolina, according to Ian Rapoport.
Zamir White (groin) is not expected to play. Presumably no one was using him, but it makes Alexander Mattison a little more promising. On the down side, he's Alexander Mattison, facing a good Steelers defense, and Ameer Abdullah might be worked in some.
If anyone was planning on using the Cardinals kicker, it should be Chad Ryland instead of Matt Prater.
Stuff discussed in the comments of yesterday's column: Brian Robinson and Devin Singletary are out, Jakobi Meyers is doubtful.
James Cook is officially questionable, but expected to play. That being said, if you can line up someone else in the Monday game just in case, seems like a good idea.
Joe Mixon is expected to play for Houston, also ranked appropriately on Friday.
If I see any other notable developments in the next couple of hours, I'll post in the comments below.
