The injury updates are coming out, with a key one from the game that kicks off in England in less than an hour. Here are some of the bigger ones being reported since yesterday.
Travis Etienne is officially inactive for the Jaguars in the game against New England, that kicks off in less than an hour East Coast time. Nice game for his younger brother yesterday. Etienne being out was expected, but now we can safely pencil in Tank Bigsby for good numbers as the starter, with D'Ernest Johnson in passing situations and as a change of pace. Same game, Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) is active.
Will Levis (shoulder, pictured) won't be starting for Tennessee today. Mason Rudolph (healthy, perhaps a little better than Levis) will be. Seems like a plus for the team's receivers.
Brian Robinson (knee) is expected to play for Washington against a lousy Carolina defense. I'm using Robinson, and the appeal of Austin Ekeler goes down slightly (but still a nice matchup even as a No. 2).
Cooper Kupp (ankle) is not expected to play for the Rams. Jordan Whittington is, and he should be pretty solid in that role, with no Kupp.
According to Adam Schefter, all of the Colts' injured wideouts (Pittman, Downs, Pierce) are expected to play today for the Colts. Their quarterback will be Anthony Richardson, which is a negative for the passing game in general, but if you were planning on using any of these receivers as ranked, they'll be active.
Ian Rapoport says Diontae Johnson is good to go for Carolina today. Can be used as ranked.
Rapoport also thinks Mike Williams is going to be traded to the Steelers. Pittsburgh already has one wide receiver they're barely using, why not add another one.
I'm not sure why this is a story, but the Jets aren't planning to trade Garrett Wilson. So the acquisition of a nearly 32-year-old No. 1 caliber wideout doesn't mean they're going to trade their 24-year-old No. 1 caliber wideout. Who knew! Jets have done some stupid things in recent years but apparently they're not going to add to them with a trade involving Wilson. In other Jets news, the Haason Reddick holdout will end, and the Jets are paying his mandatory fines.
