The Fox Sports NFL account on X (formerly Twitter) shared that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen leads the latest odds for the 2024 Most Valuable Player award at +150. Lamar Jackson is second at +200, while Jared Goff completes the top three at +600.
Allen received a boost after helping the Bills hand the Kansas City Chiefs’ first loss this season. The former Wyoming standout finished that game with 27 completions for 262 passing yards, 12 carries for 55 rushing yards, and two touchdowns. His 26-yard touchdown run extended Buffalo’s lead to nine, 30-21, while Terrel Bernard’s interception sealed the Bills’ ninth victory this season.
Through 11 games, Allen has completed 64 percent of his throws (217 of 339) for 2,543 passing yards, 18 touchdowns, and five interceptions. The former first-round pick added 316 yards and five touchdowns on 67 carries. He’s had seven games with multiple touchdowns, including a season-high four in Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
More importantly, the victory maintained the Bills’ five-game lead over the Miami Dolphins in the AFC East. With six games left in the regular season, that’s a comfortable cushion for the division title. The Bills can strengthen their grip on another division title by defeating the San Francisco 49ers after their Week 12 bye.
