It's Sunday morning and games kick off soon. Here are some of the developments since yesterday.
I think it's reasonable to worry about weather in tonight's San Francisco at Buffalo game. The snow should be done, but there will be frigid temperatures and wind. An over-under that was 47 has dropped to 44 currently. Just feels like it might be lower scoring. I would still be starting short-range receivers (Kittle, Shakir) and running backs, but I'm personally sitting Josh Allen for Bo Nix (he was ranked higher anyway on Friday) and don't have much interest in the Niners passing game. (Brock Purdy, however, is expected to play.)
Weather won't be balmy for Browns-Broncos on Monday night, but I'm seeing 42 degrees, clear skies, and not much wind. Cedric Tillman (concussion) won't play.
DeVonta Smith (hamstring) isn't expected to play, which we have been assuming all along.
Breece Hall (knee) is expected to play for the Jets. So any hopes for Braelon Allen as a replacement can be shelved for now.
Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) is expected to play for the Jaguars. That's a boost for the receiving corps; Lawrence not having a great year, but he's a lot better than Mac Jones.
The Colts have ruled out Josh Downs, but Alec Pierce (foot) will play. So the three-man mix for Indianapolis will be Michael Pittman, Pierce and Adonai Mitchell.
DeMario Douglas (knee) is expected to play and can be used as ranked.
As noted in the comments of yesterday's column, both J.K. Dobbins (knee) and Austin Ekeler (concussion) have been placed on IR. Neither was expected to play this week, but now they're definitely out until at least Week 17. At least (I'd argue neither is likely to play again in the regular season; maybe on Dobbins, but I wouldn't be holding the roster spot).
If I see anything else major before the kickoffs I'll post in the comments below.
