Bills, Chiefs, Eagles Have Most Nullified TDs In Last Five Regular Seasons

The Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Philadelphia Eagles have been perennial playoff contenders in the past five seasons. Over that stretch, the Chiefs have won two Super Bowls while the Eagles have competed in one.

While the elite status of those teams is beyond question, they could have dominated even more, if not for nullified touchdowns due to penalties. Through Dov Kleiman, Pickinem identified the Bills as the top team with 16 nullified touchdowns via penalties. Meanwhile, the Chiefs and the Eagles are tied for second with 13 touchdowns canceled.

Fourth are the Houston Texans, the New York Giants, and the San Francisco 49ers, who have had 11 touchdowns nullified. These teams have contrasting fates: The Texans dominate the AFC South, while the Giants struggle in the NFC East. Meanwhile, the 49ers have played in two NFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl but have struggled this season due to injuries to their key players.

The Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, and Detroit Lions complete the top seven, with ten touchdowns nullified. Here is the complete list, courtesy of Pickinem via Kleiman.
