Wild Card Weekend Schedule All Set

With the 2024 NFL regular season over, the playoff cast is already set. Twelve of the 14 postseason participants will prepare for the Wild Card Weekend starting Saturday, January 11.

The Wild Card Round starts with the AFC South champions, the Houston Texans, hosting the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers returned to the playoffs after hiring head coach Jim Harbaugh. Meanwhile, the Texans won their division for the second consecutive year. The Chargers will battle the Texans at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, and CBS will televise the game.

Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers will visit their division rival, the Baltimore Ravens, in the 8 p.m. ET playoff game on Prime Video. Baltimore and Pittsburgh have split their games this season, with each team winning at home. However, the Ravens won’t have Zay Flowers in this AFC North matchup after suffering a knee injury.

The Sunday schedule will start with the Buffalo Bills hosting the Denver Broncos at 1 p.m. ET. The Bills won the AFC East for the fifth straight year, led by top MVP candidate Josh Allen. Meanwhile, the Broncos will make their first playoff appearance since 2015, the year they won Super Bowl 50.

The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET. The Eagles won the NFC East with a 14-3 record and will feature 2,000-yard rusher Saquon Barkley. Conversely, the Green Bay Packers were in this position last season and defeated the Dallas Cowboys as the seventh seed.

The Washington Commanders will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the Sunday 8 p.m. ET game. The Commanders enjoyed success behind rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are again the NFC South champions and will bank on a versatile offense and a solid defensive unit.

Finally, the Los Angeles Rams will play the Minnesota Vikings on Monday at 8 p.m. ET. However, the venue isn't yet final due to the Los Angeles wildfires. While the league prepares to have the game at SoFi Stadium, it has identified Arizona’s State Farm Stadium as an alternate venue.
