While the opening round of the 2025 NFL Draft is part of history, teams still have six rounds to select rookies based on their needs. Some of the top names are off the board, but there’s much talent left in the succeeding rounds.
Amidst the hundreds of prospects hoping to hear their name, some athletes stand out. As NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero took note, quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders, Jalen Milroe, and Tyler Shough are still available. Running backs TreVeyon Henderson, Can Skattebo, and Quinson Judkins are still on the board. Teams can also consider wide receivers Luther Burden, Jayden Higgins, and Tre Harris.
On defense, some top names include edge rushers Donovan Ezeiruaku, Mike Green, Nic Scourton, and JT Tuimoloau. Other available defensive players include Shemar Turner, Carson Schwesinger, Will Johnson, Shevon Revel Jr., Benjamin Morrison, Nick Emmanwori, and Xavier Watts.
