These international games have sure been hit or miss. Miami and Washington have two of the worst defenses in the league, bottom-10 in yards and points allowed. Here we are approaching halftime and it's 6-3. Ugly.
Calvin Ridley (hamstring) is expected to play for the Titans. It's a lesser passing game against the league's 4th-best pass defense, but Ridley should be out there.
Quentin Johnston (shin) should play for the Chargers. Matchup, quarterback, and passing game all a little better for Johnston, big issue is the competition for targets.
Davante Adams (oblique) is expected to play for the Rams. Not surprising, and a better matchup for passing than running with Seattle. And a quarterback on top of his game.
Drake London (illness/back) should play for the Falcons against the Panthers, no surprise there.
One guy not expected to play is Brian Thomas (ankle). Never seemed overly likely to play and considering his disappointing season it's probably just as well.
News item from yesterday is that Sam LaPorta (back) was placed on IR. The Lions tight end will now miss at least the next four games. I have him in a league with an IR spot and will use it, but if I had to burn a roster spot for the next four weeks I'd be debating cutting ties. Earliest he can play is Week 15 and even that can't be taken for granted.
Cardinals running back Bam Knight (ankle) is expected to play. In a committee. Building on his 3.3 yards per attempt this season.
Think that's about it, but if I see anything else significant before the early kickoffs, I'll post in the comments below.
