Travis P. Wins Blackout

Travis Perry from Coeburn, VA selected all three top-scoring receivers to win the week and move into the top 20 overall with just five weeks to go.

I hope some of you enjoyed the expanded player pool this week. Amon-Ra St. Brown was one of the most selected players, so it wasn’t great for everyone! This week the player pool is not quite the Thanksgiving bonanza but it’s a bit more relaxed than in recent weeks.

Week 14 of the Blackout competition is LIVE!

In his first three games after the bye Lions’s receiver Jameson Williams averaged 20 points per game. His selection percentage remained sluggish, ticking up from 4-percent to 8-percent by Week 11. In Week 12 Blackout managers finally took the bait, selecting Williams on 32-percent of rosters. He rewarded that surge in confidence with a goose egg and this week plummeted back under 2-percent. Travis was one of the few managers to keep the faith, and he was rewarded with a WR2 performance that rocketed him to the top of the leaderboard. Here is this week’s winning roster :

Ironically, the most popular roster abandoned Williams for his teammate, St. Brown, who was injured early in the first quarter leaving 53-percent of entries holding yet another goose egg. Lamar Jackson was the other big miss this week. He’s the QB14 based on average Blackout points this season, but a matchup against the lowly Bengals turned out to be a trap. The Ravens were trounced, and Jackson finished as the QB19 among eligible quarterbacks. He has averaged just 13 Blackout-points in the last 4 games. Those two misses aside; the most popular roster did bounce back this week with 66-percent of the available points. Here is a look at the Wisdom of the Crowd score for Week 13 :

Bijan Robinson, Rashee Rice and CeeDee Lamb led the way in both scoring and selections in Week 13. Outside of those players only seven of the top scorers topped 3-percent of rosters with QB1 Marcus Mariota appearing on less than 1-percent of entries and the Panthers top scoring defense not receiving a single selection.
