Question
Earnest Jackson ran for over 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons with the Chargers and Eagles (who play tonight), then ran for 910 yards for the Steelers – falling 90 yards short of running for 1,000-plus yards for three different teams in three years. Who is the only running back in league history who’s run for more yards in a three-year period while playing for three different teams? Said player is retired.
Answer
DeMarco Murray. Murray ran for over 3,100 yards in the 2014 and 2016 seasons with the Cowboys and Titans, with a 702-yard season for Philadelphia in between.
