It's the last Sunday of the season in most fantasy leagues (don't worry, I'll discuss Week 18 for those people too). A few updates on injury statuses and playoff stuff that could affect teams this week and next.
Chris Olave (back) showed up on the injury report, but both Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport are saying he'll play today. Rapoport said "without limitations", according to his source.
George Kittle is "highly unlikely" to play for the 49ers tonight. Jake Tonges would be the beneficiary, and while Tonges is not Kittle, we're ranking him as a good starter at the position (while noting that "highly unlikely" doesn't mean Kittle is definitely out, but probably).
Harold Fannin (groin) is expected to play and be a "full-go" today, according to Schefter.
Just saw that Tetairoa McMillan (illness) was added to the injury report. He's expected to play, but something to keep in mind. As Bill Murray said in Stripes, "This is the cold and flu season."
Green Bay's loss last night clinches the NFC North for the Bears. But Chicago can still be the No. 1 seed by winning their last two games, so they shouldn't be looking to rest anyone.
Baltimore's win means the Steelers need to win at Cleveland today to avoid having the beat the Ravens in Week 18 to clinch the AFC North. No worries about Pittsburgh resting or spelling guys like Jaylen Warren -- they need this game.
Houston's win over the Chargers eliminates the Colts. As far as I know, Indy will still be playing to win with Philip Rivers and Jonathan Taylor et al. But we ranked Taylor a little lower due to the reduced importance for the Colts.
Chargers loss clinches the AFC West for the Broncos. Denver will still be playing starters next week to clinch the No. 1 seed and the bye (unless the Bills, Patriots and Jaguars all lose today). The Chargers, meanwhile, will be a wild card, and may look to rest key starters (Justin Herbert and Omarion Hampton especially) in Week 18. They wouldn't play those guys just to be spoilers for Denver, but to be a higher seed, if it works out that way (playing at Pittsburgh in the first round rather than say New England might be worth playing those guys for).
