It's Sunday morning, and there are three football games today. They've got a lot to measure up to, but a few quick notes.
Matt Prater is active for the Bills, so he's good to go to be their kicker. Conditions in Florida will not be like the above picture. But the Bills won't have Ty Johnson, who suffered an ankle injury in Week 18. Johnson wasn't an option really anyway, but it's a plus for James Cook and Ray Davis, at least in the sense that they won't be losing his share of snaps. They're facing the league's top run defense during the season, of course.
The Jaguars won't have Cole Van Lanen, who's been their starting left tackle for most of the season. He was questionable with a knee injury. Not a Trent Williams level impact guy, but it's a loss. Jacksonville will, at least, get guard Patrick Mekari back healthy.
Speaking of Trent Williams, he's expected to be in the lineup, after missing the last game due to a hamstring injury. Probably not 100 percent, but there's no tomorrow so no surprised he'd at least give it a shot. San Francisco listed Ricky Pearsall (knee, ankle) as questionable, but seems unlikely he'd be available and certainly shouldn't be used even if he surprisingly suits up.
I don't see any other notable injuries from that game (Eagles will have Lane Johnson in the lineup).
From Patriots-Chargers, there are two questionable players who teams might be considering using. Omarion Hampton (ankle) got in just one limited practice this week, but is expected to play. Probably in a committee with Kimani Vidal. Hard to feel good about either.
For New England, Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) is questionable. He got in two limited practices and will probably be available. Boutte seems like kind of a touchdown-or-bust option regardless.
Good luck in your playoff competitions, hopefully the games are close to as good as yesterday.
