Looks like I'm interested in some Texans players this year. I know that was a brutal postseason for C.J. Stroud, but the team maintains it's committed to him. And he (and Davis Mills, for that matter) had a nice rapport with Dalton Schultz.
Schultz turns 30 in July, but Houston liked him enough to sign him to a one-year, $12.6 million extension a couple of weeks ago. He earned it, coming off career-highs in targets (106) and receptions (82) last year, with his 2nd-most yards (777). Just 3 TDs, and 2 the previous year, so not as good in some formats. But a busy targets.
In fact, Schultz last year accounted for a higher percentage of his team's receptions than all but two players at his position. Everyone can guess one of them (Trey McBride), the other was Kyle Pitts. And then Schultz.
Table includes all TEs accounting for at least 10 percent of their team's receptions.

Previously I mentioned an interest in David Montgomery. I also still like Nico Collins. I'm not going to actually want to load up on Texans or anything.
But I see some value in this roster. Schultz in TE-premium leagues for sure.
