Chargers lose TE Henry for season
Los Angeles Chargers tight end HUNTER HENRY, 23, tore an anterior cruciate ligament in practice on Tuesday and will undergo surgery that will sideline him for the 2018 season. GM Tom Telesco said the team will consider all options in replacing Henry, which could include former tight end ANTONIO GATES.

Hunter Henry tore his ACL yesterday. The next time you think ill of a veteran who skips OTAs, consider the consequences for players every time they step on the field. Obviously it's terrible for Henry, and kind of a drag for those in best-ball leagues (or our experts leagues, where draft/auction already occurred). It's a major blow to the Chargers, too. more »

The Los Angeles Chargers placed tight end HUNTER HENRY on season-ending injured reserve on Tuesday due to a lacerated kidney. Hunter suffered the injury during last weekend’s game against Kansas City. We wish Mr. Henry well in his recovery.

Chargers TE Henry suffers kidney injury
Los Angeles Chargers tight end HUNTER HENRY is likely out for the remainder of the season due to a lacerated kidney. Even if the Chargers somehow sneak into the playoffs and make a deep run, Henry is expected to be out at least a month and possibly longer.

Factoid: Tight end touchdown to target percentage
