Factoid: Tennessee Titans Defense

Spoiler: the Tennessee Titans might be a little higher in the fantasy defense rankings than you'd expect this year. Last season they were just 18th, and even that was their first time finishing in the top 20 in six years. (In a scoring system of 1 point for sacks, 2 for takeaways and 6 for touchdowns.)   more »

Around the NFL: Ravens defensive coordinator signs on with Tennessee

Retirement isn't what it used to be. Just weeks after Baltimore Ravens coordinator Dean Pees hung it up for Baltimore to (reportedly) spend more time with his family, he's decided to join the Titans new coaching staff as its defensive coordinator. Fantasy-wise, it seems like he can only make things better for this defense.   more »

Factoid: NFL draft

The Browns and Titans both have multiple first-round picks, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they will be a whole bunch better. Many times in the past, other teams have had more than one first-round pick, and those teams haven’t tended to be unusually improved.  more »

Fantasy News: Week 16 kickers

Taking an early look at the kickers for Week 16, I would say the best available waiver wire kicker in a lot of leagues would be Ryan Succop. He’s on a good, contending team, and the matchup couldn’t be better – against a lesser team transitioning to a new coach.  more »

Scheduletron: Updated strength of schedule

Strength of Schedule isn’t everything, but it can be a contributing factor. It can help explain what’s going on – and what will happen. And looking at the numbers after Week 12, teams like Miami, Arizona, Houston, Kansas City and the Giants come to mind.   more »

Mariota and Murray lead Titans

Tennessee quarterback MARCUS MARIOTA tied a career high with 4 touchdowns, while running back DEMARCO MURRAY topped 100 yards, had a 75-yard touchdown run, and even managed a touchdown pass. As they have been doing for much of the season, Mariota and Murray left their fantasy owners smiling.
