Eli is for footballing in Super League

Not a great week for me in the Fantasy Index Subscriber Super League competition. Dez Bryant, Jimmy Graham -- what have you guys done for me lately? Not a great week for a lot of people: I had a poor week but actually moved up into the top 200 in the overall rankings.

You know the drill by now. Each week you pick your best lineup of 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 2 TEs, and 2 PKs. You can enter at this link. You're competing against Fantasy Index staffers and your fellow readers, and you can win prizes, both weekly and overall.

Here's the Week 7 lineup.

Quarterbacks: Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, uh huh, yeah. Peyton is in Indianapolis, facing a team he had some success with back in the day (not enough for Robert Irsay, evidently) in primetime. He's a must-start. Eli faces a really bad Minnesota secondary -- statistically, they're allowing more touchdown passes on a per game basis than anyone else. I got burned on Eli a month or so back, but I'm trying him one. More. Time.

Running Backs: Adrian Peterson and LeSean McCoy. Peterson is Peterson, facing a bad Giants run defense. McCoy faces a soft Dallas defense, I might still switch onto Alfred Morris here. Jamaal Charles also looks good.

Wide Receivers: Victor Cruz, DeMaryius Thomas, Wes Welker. Let's load up on Denver pass catchers, what the hey.

Tight Ends: Tony Gonzalez and Jermichael Finley. They're working with great quarterbacks who just lost a wide receiver or two. They'll see expanded roles, and have very good games.

Kickers: Nick Novak and Mason Crosby. Chargers facing the Jaguars, Crosby at home against the Browns. Seem like nice choices.

Good luck to the rest of you.
