Tennessee did some good stuff in its exhibition against the Saints last week, but there were other things that weren't so good. Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean breaks it down in his recap.
Probably the biggest worry, fantasy wise, concerns Bishop Sankey. Sankey fumbled for the second straight preseason game, and Wyatt notes he's had trouble with exchanges in practices, too.
Wyatt still believes Sankey will play a bigger role this season than Shonn Greene, but says he can't help but wonder if Sankey's "continuing fumbling issues will cost him."
Sankey is going to be all over the place in drafts, propped up by owners who love to select rookie runners, maybe avoided by those who have been monitoring his ups and downs in the preseason.
Wyatt goes on to discuss Shonn Greene (his knee seems to be OK) and Justin Hunter, among other players, in the linked article.
I thought Jake Locker looked pretty good in the exhibition, but I'm wary, having been burned by Locker in the past. What I do know is that Charlie Whitehurst can't play and Zach Mettenberger isn't likely to be ready to start, so Locker needs to have a good year to give this offense any chance of being competitive.
