It's Miller Time in Miami

Bad as it is to watch players go down with injuries and know they're done for the season, like Victor Cruz against the Eagles on Sunday night, it's also pretty bad to wake up Tuesday morning and find out somebody that you didn't even realize was injured is out for the year.

That happened today with Knowshon Moreno, placed on injured reserve after tearing his ACL in Sunday's Dolphins-Packers game. Talk about injury to insult; Miami lost a game they should have won, and a player who the team didn't even update on Monday as being hurt.

The Dolphins will move forward with Lamar Miller, who should play close to full-time. When Moreno got hurt initially, some speculated that running back Damien Williams could get a chance as the second half of a running back committee. But instead Miami re-signed Daniel Thomas, who it had cut prior to the start of the season, and elevated him into that No. 2 role (although Thomas barely played even while Marino was out).

Miller should be pretty good the rest of the way. Miami is at Chicago (1oth against the run) this week, Jacksonville (19th, but probably not that good) the next. We'll see where he ranks for the rest of the season when the ReDrafter comes out later today.
