You can't make this stuff up.
If I told you that Adrian Peterson would be arrested for hitting his child with a stick, or that the Seahawks would trade away Percy Harvin before midseason, you wouldn't believe me. Harvin supposedly got in locker room fights with both Golden Tate (the week before the Super Bowl, no less) and Doug Baldwin.
In that spirit, I offer Shonn Greene.
He's been arrested in Tennessee. Police say they were writing Greene a ticket for parking in a handicapped spot when Greene got in his car, ignored them, and tried to drive away.
Really. That's the story that's moving on the wire.
Prior to this development, we had Greene and Bishop Sankey flagged as backs to ignore this week. Neither one was in our top 30 at the position.
If, however, the Titans decide to deactivate Greene, then we can start thinking about Sankey as a serviceable Week 8 option. Not great, but he'd be out there most of the time, and there aren't a lot of those backs around.
If Greene sits, Sankey would move up to just outside the top 20 among running backs on my board.
Unbelievable.
