Making it Rainey?

Martin unlikely to play for Bucs

Bobby Rainey has been the backup in Tampa Bay since Doug Martin returned, and his role seemed even more suspect when we were putting the Weekly together, with third-rounder Charles Sims apparently set to return from an ankle injury.

But Martin has missed practice all week, and it looks like he's not going to play on Sunday. That could make Rainey the starter against a Cleveland defense ranked 30th against the run.

We say could because the Bucs aren't saying what role Sims might play. But the most likely scenario is Rainey starting against that soft Browns defense, with Sims and Mike James maybe getting a few chances.

If you're in a large league stuck for a running back this week and Rainey is available, might be a good spot to give him a start.
