Sammy Watkins (groin) and Fred Jackson (also dealing with a groin injury) are expected to play today for the Bills against Kansas City. That's the word from NFL.com.
With Watkins, it seems safe to use him, as he was expected to play by beat reporters, and his absence from practices may have only been precautionary. With Jackson, it looks riskier. His return is ahead of schedule, so Buffalo could choose to limit his carries and use other running backs: Anthony Dixon, Bryce Brown. But Jackson's availability, even if he is limited, means those considering using Dixon or Brown should look for another option.
Watkins being out there makes Robert Woods less appealing as a one-week start.
From the same link, note that Mark Ingram is expected to play through a shoulder injury for the Saints today.
