Fantasy Index favorite Kyle Rudolph finally back in action

We can't get everything right, of course, in part because injuries trump even the most trenchant analysis. But we loved Minnesota TE Kyle Rudolph coming into this season, and we still see him as a great fit for Norv Turner's offense. Rudolph finally returns today from a groin injury that has shut him down since Week 4, and the rest of the season could be a pretty good preview of how the Vikings' passing game will work in 2015, with Teddy Bridgewater now firmly entrenched as the quarterback of the present (whether or not he proves to be the quarterback of the future), and Rudolph making an ideal security option for the rookie. Expect his workload to increase going forward, but Rudolph could beat a lot of other tight ends right from the jump.
