Week 15 waiver grabs

Initial thoughts on Week 15 free agent possibilities

Here’s a brief look at some of the guys who might be available on the waiver wire in your league:

Arizona: Kerwynn Williams. Ran for 100 yards against Kansas City. Don’t see him doing much in Weeks 15-16, however, with schedule getting harder.

Baltimore: Kamar Aiken. Had some nice catches at Miami. Caught 6 balls and a touchdown. Don’t see him doing much, however, in the closers.

Buffalo: C.J. Spiller. Comes off IR this week.

Chicago: Marquess Wilson. Brandon Marshall is out for the year, so Wilson takes that spot in the lineup. They’re at home this week against a weak defense. Maybe.

Cleveland: Johnny Manziel. Probably will start this week. Should be a downgrade as a passer, but a running threat.

Indianapolis: Dan Herron is definitely better than Trent Richardson. Donte Moncrief seems to be the No. 2 receiver in that offense.

Jacksonville: Marqise Lee. Not particularly exciting, but he’s caught 11 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown over the last two weeks.

Minnesota: Looks like Matt Asiata will start the remaining games. Charles Johnson seems to be the best receiver there now.

N.Y. Giants: Andre Williams played well enough at Tennessee that he should get a nice chunk of playing time off the bench going forward. Maybe.

N.Y. Jets: Chris Johnson has been terrible this year. But Jets are playing Tennessee this week. Johnson used to play for Titans. They have the league’s worst run defense. Hmm.

Oakland: Latavius Murray probably will be featured back for the duration. Tight end Mychal Rivera has been surprisingly good for the past month of so.

Tennessee: Starting receivers on Sunday probably will be Derek Hagan and Nate Washington. New York Jets have leakiest secondary in the league. So there’s some potential there. Delanie Walker will be a lot higher than usual on our board this week. Jake Locker takes over at quarterback, but he’s still Jake Locker.

Washington: Giants have a weak run defense, so we’ll have to give some thought this week to Alfred Morris. DeSean Jackson didn’t practice at all last week; maybe he gets back in there this week, and he’s definitely going to be ready to play against his old team, Philadelphia, in Week 16.
