Fifty-one percent. That's the odds of successfully executing a 2-point conversion in the NFL this year. In general, then, kicking a pair of extra points is going to turn out the same way as if you go for two after a pair of touchdowns.
Which teams are the best at these kinds of plays? Five teams have attempted two or more 2-point conversions and been successful every time. The Bears, Vikings and Steelers have attempted three or more and converted all of them, which is impressive.
At the other end of the spectrum, three teams (Cardinals, Ravens and Jaguars) have attempted three or more and been successful less than half of the time. Three other teams (Colts, Jets and Kansas City) have attempted two or more without converting any of them.
A quarter of the league's teams, by the way, haven't attempted a 2-point conversion yet this season.
The season-long numbers on two point conversions, ordered by success rate, are presented below.
