Here’s a sister chart to what I posted yesterday, when I looked at postseason win-loss records over the last 15 years.
Here are win-loss totals since the league went to the eight-division format in 2002. In these 13 seasons, each team has played 208 games.
The Patriots are way ahead of everyone – 15 games ahead of the Colts, and 27 games ahead of every other franchise. They’ve got over twice as many wins as four franchises.
It’s pretty remarkable. All of the other teams have had ups and downs, but they’ve been able to keep things chugging along (even going 11-5 in the season Tom Brady tore his ACL in the first game).

During this stretch, two teams have won over 120 games without winning a Super Bowl – the Eagles and Chargers.
