Looking at Teddy Bridgewater, he’s a little better than what I was expecting. He had a good rookie year, and he got better as the year wore on. He had the two dud games early, throwing for under 190 yards against the Lions and Bills, with 5 interceptions. But he came around. He tossed a touchdown in each of his final 10 games, and he completed a lot of passes.
In the second half of the season (the final eight games for each team) Bridgewater completed 67 percent of his passes. That was 4th-best in the league. Not bad for a rookie.
I’m still not overly interested in trying to draft Bridgewater. But maybe. He’ll be a No. 2 quarterback in most every 10- and 12-team league.
On this chart, I’m including all quarterbacks with at least 100 attempts in the eight games in the study.
