Allen Robinson

Second-year wideout shining at OTAs

Even after letting Cecil Shorts III go in the offseason, the Jaguars have a lot of bodies at wideout, including a number of recent high draft picks. But the one who's really been standing out during offseason training activities so far is Allen Robinson.

Robinson is coming off a foot injury that cost him the last six games a year ago, but he's healthy now. Blake Bortles describes Robinson as "unbelievable" in practices thus far. "He's definitely a threat now in the red zone. ... He's physical. He can run and do everything out in the open field, so he's been fun to throw to."

Last year from the second game through the 10th, Robinson caught at least 4 passes in every game, with 60-plus yards six times. He caught 2 TDs and a two-point conversion in his last four games before getting injured.

Jacksonville also has Marqise Lee, who they drafted earlier a year ago, and another solid rookie performer in Allen Hurns. The team also added Julius Thomas in free agency.

But Robinson looks to be in line to be the No. 1 wideout, and the one to draft first in fantasy leagues. There's breakout potential if Bortles continues to develop in his 2nd season.
