The Saints will likely run the ball more this season, but there are still going to be some productive receivers. You already know we're very high on Brandin Cooks, but there are other possibilities down the depth chart.
Marques Colston (who lasted forever in the draft I participated in last night) will be the other starter. And then probably three or four other wide receivers will make the cut. With Jimmy Graham gone, those wideouts could have a bigger role than in previous seasons.
Brandon Coleman is the No. 3, so he's just an injury to Colston or Cooks away from having a major role. And the other reserves look like Josh Morgan, impressive youngster Willie Snead, and then maybe Seantavius Jones (or not). Joseph Morgan is the other player on the cut line; the writer in the linked article thinks he'll miss it.
Coleman and Snead look like intriguing last-round gambles in deeper leagues. Just maybe one of them comes into value this season. They were both a lot better than injured Nick Toon, the preseason favorite for that No. 3 role (who might have been cut even if he hadn't been injured).
Drafted Coleman in the last round of last night's draft. You never know.
