Romo to have surgery to strengthen clavicle

Dallas quarterback TONY ROMO intends to undergo surgery to strengthen his left clavicle. If his collarbone has healed to the point where a procedure can take place, it is believed that doctors will use a set of screws to attach a plate over the left clavicle. Romo and the team believe the surgery, while not a common procedure, will limit the potential for recurring issues. The projection is that it will take Romo six to eight weeks to recover, allowing him to take part in the team’s off-season program.
