It’s early, but the first odds for the 2016 season are up. The Westgate SuperBook, a casino in Las Vegas, has released its odds for winning the next Super Bowl. It has the Patriots, Seahawks and Steelers as the tri-favorites, each at 8-1.
They’ve got the 49ers and Browns as the two longest shots on their board.
I don’t see anything too out of whack. There are a few teams I would have put a little higher, such as Carolina, Denver and Indianapolis. And a few I would have put lower.
Here’s what it looks like now, with teams, the casino odds and then a converted percentage (adjusting the ratios proportionately so they add up to 100%). The last column shows my current power ranking number for each team (with New England and Carolina at the top of my list right now).
