Colston and Coleman

Youngster could take over for veteran

The New Orleans Saints will go back to the drawing board in 2016, hoping to re-emerge as one of the league's playoff teams. Their league-worst defense was the biggest problem a year ago, of course, but they're looking for their offense to improve as well.

One subtle decline has been at receiver, where Brandin Cooks has emerged but Marques Colston declined. This article indicates the team thinks Brandon Coleman is the clear heir apparent to Colston.

Coleman finished the 2015 season strong, catching 9 passes for 126 yards in New Orleans' final two games. If you're in a dynasty league with an open waiver wire, make sure Coleman is on a roster.

Colston, in contrast, declined in each of the last four seasons, in catches, yards and touchdowns. He comes off the worst season of his career in terms of yards per catch, as well. The numbers are below.
