The Cleveland Browns are almost certainly going to draft a quarterback at No. 2 overall. They're going to need to set aside some picks early and late to draft wide receivers, too, because the picture is really ugly right now.
News of another failed drug test for Josh Gordon rippled through the Internet yesterday, with reactions primarily of disappointment -- not as much shock as you'd want to see with somebody throwing away his NFL career. Nothing official yet, but the lack of actual denials make it seem pretty clear that Gordon won't be reinstated to the NFL anytime soon. If you've got him in a dynasty league, it's probably already too late to get anything for him.
What has Hue Jackson walked into? Cleveland will have a rookie quarterback (or Robert Griffin III). It's let two of its three best offensive lineman, Alex Mack and Mitchell Schwartz, get away in free agency. Cut ties with several veteran defensive players, too, including Karlos Dansby and Donte Whitner -- still very capable players.
But it's at wide receiver where things are especially ugly. Travis Benjamin signed with the San Diego Chargers. Josh Gordon won't be coming back. Even Dwayne Bowe might start to look good, but he's gone, too.
Here are the 2015 stats of the receivers currently on the roster.
