Quincy Enunwa

Will Jets have a productive No. 3?

In the Jets' preseason opener, the player who had the most noteworthy performance was Quincy Enunwa. The favorite for No. 3 receiver duties caught 2 passes for 69 yards. He'll probably be next in line catching passes from Ryan Fitzpatrick behind Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker.

That job, however, doesn't seem likely to get Enunwa onto the fantasy radar. The Jets heavily target their top two wideouts, and also their running backs. They've been indicating they'll throw more to the tight end this year than last year, too (although we'll see about that).

Bottom line, in the same offense and with similar personnel a year ago, the Jets spent almost no time throwing to their No. 3 wide receiver. Across the NFL, only two teams had No. 3 receivers put up fewer yards than the Jets.

No. 3 receivers in 2015, sorted by yardage, are shown below.
