The Jaguars kick off against the Colts at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time, and the notable inactive is Julius Thomas. He won't play. Our end of the week update was leaning toward him being available, so his absence should benefit Jacksonville's other receivers -- Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns and perhaps No. 3 Marqise Lee.
Marcedes Lewis will now be Jacksonville's main tight end, but he probably won't have a Thomas-like role. More looks for the wideouts.
Other early injury notes:
Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) is out. The Patriots will use Jacoby Brissett at quarterback again.
The Ravens are reportedly benching Justin Forsett. Terrance West is expected to get the start, and maybe Javorius Allen will be active.
Russell Wilson will play, wearing a brace on his injured knee.
Dez Bryant (knee) isn't expected to play, but you knew that.
Willie Snead (toe) will play.
