Kevin White left last week's Bears game with an ankle injury, which the Bears (as is their standard operating procedure) have provided no details on, even after White underwent an MRI on Monday. But it sounds like he'll be out for a little while.
That was the report from Ian Rapoport, anyway, who has sources from White's teammates. Maybe it doesn't seem like a big deal, with no one building fantasy rosters around White most likely.
But the Bears are facing a soft Colts defense this week, and Eddie Royal has been having a solid season thus far. Now he should be their No. 2.
It's a plus also for Alshon Jeffery and Zach Miller, as White has actually seen more targets to this point than anyone else on the team. Those passes will have to go somewhere, likely Jeffery, Miller and Royal.
Waivers have run in some leagues, but Royal is worth a speculative pickup, particularly in PPR formats.
