Jameis Winston has had the hot hand recently, but I would be leery of starting him on Sunday against Seattle. The Seahawks will be missing half of their starting secondary (Earl Thomas, DeShawn Shead) but that’s just a really tough even. It’s a unit that remarkably has been even better on the road.

Since the start of the 2013 season, the Seahawks have played 29 games on the road. They have allowed 3-plus touchdowns in only seven of those games.

In those 29 games, one quarterback has been able to throw 3 TDs – Philip Rivers, early in 2014. Seven others have managed 2 TDs. But 21 of the 29 have fallen short of multiple touchdowns.

Winston is an up-and-comer, but I don’t think he has the chops to post big numbers against this defense.
